Eastern European TFL Alumni (& tutors) strong presence in Cannes Official Selection!

We are proud to announce the strong presence of members of the TorinoFilmLab community in the Official Selection of the 68th Cannes Film Festival. Noticeably, Alumni & tutors from Eastern Europe, and in particular from Croatia, Hungary and Romania... 

First and foremost we would like to congratulate Script&Pitch 2012 Alumnus Laszlo Nemes (Hungary) for being selected in Competition with his debut feature SON OF SAUL.

Remarkably the only first film in the 2015 main competition of the world number one festival, SON OF SAUL sees the involvement of several members of the TorinoFilmLab network: Script&Pitch 2013 Alumnus Matthieu Taponier collaborated as script consultant and editor of the film, and FrameWork tutor Matyas Erdely was the cinematographer.

We are happy to announce that more TFL people are present in Un Certain Regard: FrameWork 2014 Alumna Ankica Juric Tilic (Croatia) produced THE HIGH SUN by Dalibor Matanic, and our returning tutor Razvan Radulescu co-wrote Radu Muntean’s ONE FLOOR BELOW selected in the same section.
