Julien Temple Guest Director of the 33rd Torino Film Festival

The Torino Film Festival is glad to announce that the Guest Director of the 33th edition (20-28 November 2015) will be British director Julien Temple.

Author of successful films and documentaries including The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle (1980), Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten (2007) and Oil City Confidential (2009), Julien Temple has enthusiastically accepted the TFF proposal.

Temple is considered one of the pioneers of the music video as an art form. During his long career he has directed music videos for famous artists (David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, the Sex Pistols, Depeche Mode to name a few).
His documentaries have often been presented at the Turin Film Festival, where, on the occasion of the 33th edition, the director will also present his latest work: The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson.
