Produced by Tel Aviv-based Lama Films, DARKROOM is the feature debut for the Israeli director, who has directed various documentaries.

The Sam Spiegel International Film Lab presented 11 projects that were developed during a seven-month seminar. The high-profile jury also comprised, among others, TFL Alumnus and FrameWork 2015 participant Laszlo Nemes, whose debut SON OF SAUL won this year’s Cannes’ Grand Prix.

 

Script&Pitch 2010 Alumnus Itamar Alcalay’s project DARKROOM won the top prize of the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab, a $ 50,000 grant from the Beracha Foundation.
