FAMILY FILM selected for New Directors competition at San Sebastián Film Festival!

Great news: yet another TorinoFilmLab film is going to premiere in September, the eleventh since the beginning of 2015! We are very proud to announce that FAMILY FILM by Slovenian director Olmo Omerzu, his debut feature developed at FrameWork 2013, will compete for the Kutxa New Directors Award of the 63rd San Sebastián International Film Festival.

 The fillm is produced by Endorfilm (Czech Republic), and co-produced by 42Film (Germany), Arsmedia (Slovenia), Punkchart Films (Slovakia) and Rouge International (France). The New Directors competition, devoted to the discovery of new international film talents, will present at the coming edition of the festival thirteen first or second works by filmmakers from all over the world.

Among the other titles in the same section we would like to highlight the presence of GRANNY'S DANCING ON THE TABLE by Swedish director Hanna Sköld, developed within The Pixed Lab, presented as a guest project at the TFL Meeting Event 2011 and co-produced by TorinoFilmLab's staff member Valeria Richter with her company Pebble (Denmark).
