Chilean writer-director Fernando Guzzoni’s JESUS (Script&Pitch 2012, FrameWork 2013) is having a winning streak!
The project received a € 40.000 grant from Berlinale World Cinema Fund and was among the 11 TFL-supported films presented in the TFL Coming Soon work-in-progress showcase within the 8th TFL Meeting Event. The film is produced by JBA Production (France) and Rampante Films (Chile), and co-produced by unafilm (Germany), Graal Films (Greece) and Burning Blue (Colombia).
Furthermore, TFL Alumnus Bejamin Naishtat’s new feature ROJO – a Dutch minority co-production – received support from the Netherlands Film Fund and Hubert Bals Fund Co-production Scheme. Naishtat’s first feature HISTORY OF FEAR was developed at Script&Pitch 2010 and FrameWork 2011, having its world premiere at the Berlinale in 2014.
Last but not least, TFL duo Antonio Piazza and Fabio Grassadonia’s new project SICILIAN GHOST STORY (working title) gained a € 50.000 grant for Single Project Development from Creative Europe – MEDIA. The film will be produced by Cristaldi Pictures and Indigo Film, co-produced by MACT Productions, JPG Films and The Match Factory.
