TFL Audience Design Fund 2017 winners unveiled!

TorinoFilmLab is thrilled to announce the two newly selected feature films to be supported by the TFL Audience Design Fund 2017!

The TFL Audience Design Fund offers financial support & tailor-made consulting for the implementation of innovative audience engagement strategies to 2 internationally co-produced projects - to be distributed in at least 3 territories each. The winning titles are:

DEAD & BEAUTIFUL by prolific Dutch filmmaker David Verbeek, developed at Script&Pitch 2012 and produced by Lemming Film (Netherlands). Verbeek's previous works were selected in Cannes Un Certain Regard, Toronto, IFFR and many other prestigious festivals.

BIRDS OF PASSAGE co-directed by Colombian helmer Ciro Guerra & producer/director Cristina Gallego, produced by Ciudad Lunar Producciones & Blond Indian Films (Colombia), and co-produced among others by Denmark's Snowglobe. Guerra's latest work EMBRACE OF THE SERPENT was screened in the Cannes Directors' Fortnight in 2015 and later nominated for Best Foreign Language Film Oscar at the 2016 Academy Awards.
