July 2, 2019

In the slowness of the summer heat we have decided to extend the deadline to apply to our two next TFL Extended workshops: Story Editing & Audience Design! You now have one more week to apply and the calls will officially close on July 8th.

So what are these workshops all about?

TFL Extended - Audience Design
An intensive workshop addressed to international audiovisual professionals wishing to gain solid experience in creating audience engagement strategies for feature film projects in various stages of development.

The workshop aims at sharing insights into steps that help build a concrete strategy to later support the sales and distribution of a film.

Participants will understand how audience engagement in the development and later promotion of a film are an important part of the new film production and distribution landscape. Reaching out to and communicating with possible audiences at an early stage is an aspect that benefits the project, exploring from a multi-angle approach.

Audience Designers will work as a group, individually, and in small teams, as well as collaborating with the film project’s team. A tutor will guide them through the development, research, writing and assessment process.
