Discover the TFL Films at the 37th Torino Film Festival!

November 14, 2019

We are exciting to announce that no less than 7 TFL Films were selected for the 37th edition of the Torino Film Festival (22nd – 30th November).

Released in 2019 in various film festivals around the globe, they will be presented to the local audiences within the Festa Mobile / TorinoFilmLab section.

The line-up includes three entries from Cannes Film Festival: Critics’ Week-titles ABOU LEILA by Amin Sidi-Boumédiène (Algeria/France) and LITIGANTE by Franco Lolli (Colombia/France), as well as Danielle Lessovitz’s debut feature PORT AUTHORITY (France/United States), which was selected in the prestigious section Un Certain Regard.

South America is well represented with three more films: award-winner THE FEVER by Maya-Da-Rin (Brazil/France/Germany), which premiered this summer at Locarno Film Festival, Leticia Jorge Romero’s sophomore film ALELÍ (Uruguay/Argentina), selected at the Biarritz Festival Latin America, and the new feature by Alejandro Fernández Almendras, THE PLAY (Czech Republic/Chile/France/South Korea), that will have its International Premiere in Turin. The Toronto International Film Festival’s entry MADE IN BANGLADESH by Rubaiyat Hossain (France/Bangladesh/Denmark/Portugal) completes the line-up.

We look forward to watching these films at the 37TFF!
