SeriesLab – Talents: the selection of the first edition

March 11, 2022

The year at TorinoFilmLab started with a wave of freshness: new programmes, new goals and new talents. Speaking of which, we are glad to share with you today all about the 10 professionals selected for SeriesLab – Talents 2022, that is realised thanks to the support of the Creative Europe - MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union; in partnership with MDM - Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, hosting the preparatory workshop in March.

The programme provides the participants, who represent diverse backgrounds and reflect voices that are underrepresented in our industry, with an intensive 5-month career development training, plus a final presentation in one of the main European TV markets in 2023.

Let’s cut to the chase, who are the best emerging talents in new drama writing?

Giulia Cavaleri (Italy)

Carla Grauls (Belgium, based in the UK)

Michele Furfari (Italy)

Fabrizio Muscia (Italy)

Diane Ntahimpera (Belgium)

Solveig Nuin Stephens (Norway)

Nach Solis (Spain)

Svitlana Topor (Poland)

Caatje van Leeuwen (The Netherlands)

Alice von Gwinner (Germany)

Five of them, after the preparatory workshop taking place next week in Germany, will have the chance to work in a real writers’ room, guided by a high profiled script editor such as Tony Grisoni, and to build strong connections with other international writers.
