Awards & opportunities for alumni and TFL work in progress projects!

July 11, 2022

Have you joined ScriptLab in the past? Or was it FeatureLab perhaps? (Even when they were named Script & Pitch and FrameWork). Or maybe you received one of the TFL Funds?

If your answer was YES to one of those questions you should definitely keep reading this news.

As you probably know by now, TorinoFilmLab is a never-ending experience. The last day of your last workshop is only the beginning of your path with the TFL community, always ready to support you and provide you with interesting opportunities.

This time we wish to highlight two compelling options for #TFL work in progress projects presented by our alumni!

1) EUROPEAN WORK IN PROGRESS COLOGNE (EWIP)
It’s a high-profile industry meeting taking place on 17th - 19th October 2022 ahead of the Film Festival Cologne (20th - 27th October 2022). The event will showcase excerpts of feature films to a wide audience of international film industry professionals, among the projects there is room for up to 5 projects developed/supported in the past by TFL within the FeatureLab, ScriptLab and TFL Funds programmes, provided that they respect specific eligibility criteria.

Cherry on top, a renowned jury will acknowledge the best pitches with awards including post-production services worth 37,500 € provided by our partners K13 Studios, ARRI Media and LAVAlabs Moving Images, international festival promotion provided by mm filmpresse as well as the new EWIP TorinoFilmLab Audience Design Award.

Interested? Submissions open until 1st September.

2) POST-PRODUCTION AWARD 2022
The Post-Production Award is offered and assigned by our partners APostLab, FILMMORE and POSTA
This opportunity is for former ScriptLab or FeatureLab projects that are right now in an advanced stage of development. Thanks to a long-lasting partnership, the winning project will get a grant of € 10,000 in image post-production services at Amsterdam-based Filmmore and € 10,000 in sound post-production services at Posta sound studio in Amsterdam, as well as a scholarship to the producer, to participate in the annual post-production workshop of Amsterdam Post Lab.

The producer of the winning project will be invited to attend the TFL Meeting Event 2022 (24th - 26th November), where the prize will be officially assigned by the partner during the Award Ceremony.

Would you like to submit your application? Deadline to apply: 9th September 2022.
