Awards
During the Final Meeting Event most projects developed within the different TorinoFilmLab training programmes are presented to an audience of producers and sales agents invited from all over the world. The projects compete for the Production Awards, the Development Awards, the Audience Award, the Post Production Award and the International Relations ARTE Prize.
Development Awards
Up to 6 projects out of the 16 Script&Pitch participants can receive a Development Award, allowing the winners to enter TFL’s FrameWork Programme, and thereby continue working with TorinoFilmLab for another year.
Production Awards
A Jury selected each year assigns the Production Awards (from 50.000€ to 200.000€) to a number of FrameWork projects. The awards are given to enable the making of the film, without an obligation to spend the money in Italy. In order to be eligible for the Production Awards, all projects need to participate in the FrameWork Programme first.
In addition to the Production Awards, projects that choose to produce their film partly in Piemonte might receive further economic and logistic support by Film Commission Torino Piemonte.
The Awarded projects must indicate TorinoFilmLab support both in the opening and closing credits, by displaying the TorinoFilmLab Logo, together with the caption "funded by TorinoFilmLab"
Audience Award
An audience of film professionals who attend the Meeting Event vote their favourite project among the FrameWork participants. The most voted project receives the Audience Award (€30,000).
International Relations ARTE Prize
The new International Relations ARTE Prize, will be assigned to one of the Script&Pitch projects during the Meeting Event in November. The prize (6.000 Euro) will be awarded to a project among the ones participating in the programme, based on the decision of ARTE representatives attending the pitches and having one-to-one meetings with the scriptwriters.
Post Production Award
TorinoFilmLab grants a Post Production Award to financially support the participation of a producer to the European Post Production Connection (EP2C) Training Programme.
The awarded project will be chosen by a Jury composed of the EP2C Training Programme Director and the TorinoFilmLab Director among the Development and the Training Programs projects that have a producer attached already.
