Funding
TorinoFilmLab grants a number of Production Awards to financially support the production of the most promising selected and developed projects.
Projects participating in the Development program that are at an advanced stage of financing will be chosen by a Jury composed of TorinoFilmLab’s Advisory Board. This will take place at a new meeting event that will be held during the next Torino Film Festival, November 2009.
The event will also connect filmmakers and the film community through a worldwide network of invited producers, sales agents, distributors and other professionals who are active in independent filmmaking and who have been invited to participate.
Selected projects will be granted a minimum of 50,000 Euros and a maximum of 200,000 Euros.
There is no obligation to spend the grant in Italy or in any specific country.
In addition to the Production Awards, projects that choose to produce their film partly in Piemonte might receive further economic and logistic support by Film Commission Torino Piemonte.
The Awarded projects must indicate TorinoFilmLab support both in the opening and closing credits, by displaying the TorinoFilmLab Logo, together with the caption "funded by TorinoFilmLab"
