TFL Extended lands in Qatar & Singapore in January with 3 tailor-made workshops!

TorinoFilmLab is thrilled to announce the three workshops taking place in Qatar and Singapore in January 2018 in the framework of its TFL Extended activities.

First of all, the Doha Film Institute (Qatar) will organize two sessions dedicated to screenwriting.

During the 4th edition of the Hezayah Screenwriting Lab (10th-14th January), 10 emerging scriptwriters will work on their original feature film scripts and will have the opportunity to pitch it in front of an external panel of industry professionals at the end of the session. They will be mentored by 2 well-known TFL faces: Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten (Sweden) and Antoine Le Bos (France).

The second workshop, Short Scriptwriting Lab (15th-20th January), is aimed at scriptwriters developing a short film screenplay from an original idea. The list of tutors is composed by TFL Alumni Leonardo Staglianò (Italy) and the renowned writer/director François Pirot (Belgium). 

Finally, the IMDA - Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore will organize TFL Feature Film Workshop on 19th - 22nd January:  the training will include 2 masterclasses, a public screening of the TFL Film DIAMOND ISLAND (Cambodia) and an in-depth case study dedicated to the film. The 10 participants will also benefit from one-to-one script & production consultations on their feature film projects with the tutors following this programme: TFL Alumni Philippe Barrière (France) & Aleksandra Świerk (Poland) and producer Denis Vaslin (France).

TFL Extended is a new initiative offering customized trainings, lectures and consultancies to individual film professionals and cultural organizations. It tackle areas ranging from script development to story editing, from TV-series fundamentals to audience design, from overall project development (including production-related aspects) to pitching, and much more.
