Strong presence of TorinoFilmLab at IFFR 2018!

The programme of IFFR - International Film Festival Rotterdam 2018 is finally available: discover all the selected TFL Films and many more surprises!

The first encounter is scheduled for Thursday, 25th January at 10.00 pm with the screening of THE NIGHT EATS THE WORLD by Dominique Rocher (France), opening the Rotterdämmerung section: "an electric mix of films that brashly bend, blend or respect conventions each in their own distinctive way”.  A special congratulation to this film which is the 80th TFL Film

MESSI AND MAUD by Marleen Jonkman (Netherlands, Germany) will be presented on the following day, Friday, 26th January at 9.00 pm: it is one of the 6 films participating in IFFR Live, the film screenings with live Q&A's in over 45 European cities.

On the same evening, Friday 26th January at 9.15 pm, BEAST by Michael Pearce (United Kingdom) will be screened in the Limelight section, presenting the “avant-premieres of some of the cinematic highlights of the year: international award-winners and festival favourites that will be released in Dutch cinemas after IFFR”. 

Furthermore, 2 TFL Alumni will present their new feature film: David Verbeek has been selected with AN IMPOSSIBLY SMALL OBJECT (Taiwan/Netherlands/Croatia) in the Big Screen Competition, while Bertrand Mandico's THE WILD BOYS will be screened within Bright Future.

Last but not least, 2 TFL Projects developed within ScriptLab 2017 will be presented at the IFFR’s Co-production Market CineMart (28-31 January): MEDUSA by Anita Rocha da Silveira and MITRA by Kaweh Modiri.
