FeatureLab 2018 welcomes 10 international projects & 4 Audience Designers!

May 7, 2018

10 creative teams of scriptwriter, director and producer working on their first or second feature films have been selected to join the upcoming edition of FeatureLab. 4 international film professionals will accompany them through this 6-month course as Audience Designer trainees.

Belgium, Denmark, Italy and Hungary: these are the nationalities of the four Audience Designer trainees who will gain hands-on experience in the creation of innovative audience engagement strategies for international film projects in various stages of development. They will work together as a group and in teams on a Sardinian feature film project, according to the partnership between TFL and the Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission, hosting the first workshop.

Alban de Fraipont (Belgium) is a digital communication and marketing strategist with a background mixing a solid experience in communication strategies and technical skills in web programming, video editing and compositing.

Nanna Lykke (Denmark) is working as audience designer for Beofilm, an umbrella organization gathering five production companies. She works on both feature and TV series projects, and she is currently establishing a promotion and marketing strategy for the TFL-developed project TEENAGE JESUS by Marie Grahtø.

Anna Ragagnin (Italy) has been working since 2016 as a production assistant for the production company HT Film, specializing in film funding. She wrote her graduation thesis on "Distribution of the Asian Movie in Italy".

Robert Vamos (Hungary) worked as associate producer on László Nemes’ Oscar-winning feature film SON OF SAUL. He is now working as junior producer at Proton Cinema. His experience involves financial development of feature films, post-production coordination, development of campaign materials and on-set assistance.

The FeatureLab 2018 selection is also composed of 10 film projects at an advanced stage of development, including 7 debut features. We are also proud to highlight that 6 projects are to be directed by women and 8 attached producers out of 12 are female. In total, 26 team members will join the programme.

The projects come from Europe, Latin America and Asia. One project from Indonesia has been selected in the frame of TorinoFilmLab’s partnership with BEKRAF – Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy, who supports the full participation of the team in the programme.
