biography

Benjamin Domenech was born in Buenos Aires, 1986. He completes his studies at the Universidad del Cine. In 2010, he creates Argentine production company Rei Cine, a creative platform for groundbreaking filmmakers.

Benjamin is a member of EAVE since 2011, a Binger Filmlab Creative Producers’ Lab graduate (2012) and an IFP Marcel Bloom Fellow (Sony Picture Classics). In Argentina, he represents his company at the CAIC and is a member of the Film Academy. He is also involved in Argentine filmmagazine Kilómetro 111 Ensayos sobre Cine.

Since 2013, they distribute films under the label REI DISTRIBUCION, focused on tailor-designed releases and for formation of new audiences for Latin American arthouse films.
