Marianne Dumoulin began her career as production assistante with Gilles Sandoz and Yvon Davis, in CDN Productions(France), wich produced such feature films as "Dieu vomit les tièdes" by Robert Guediguian, "Rei Dom ou la légende des kreuls" by Jean-Claude Gallotta or "Paris Nord" a documentary by Jacques Bonnafé.

She started working for JBA in 1992. Here, in Jacques Bidou's company, she was in charge of many films, including Maria de Medeiros' "April Captains" (Official Selection Cannes 2000), Raoul Peck's "Lumumba" (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2000), Rithy Panh's "One evening after the war" (Official Selection Cannes 1998), Teresa Villaverde's "The mutants" (Official Selection Cannes 1998), Ramadan Suleman's "Fools" (Locarno 1997), plus Merzak Allouache's "Bab el oued city" (Official Selection Cannes 1994) and "Hey cousin!" (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 1996) as well as documentaries including "Gog, dollar, flag and dog" by Robert Bozzi (Lussas 2005), "Paris taxi" by Robert Bozzi (Competition Locarno 2002), "Justice" by Olivier Ballande (First Prize Nyon 1998), "Notes from a Kurdish rebel" by Stefano Savona (Scam Prize and Distinction of the Young Jury in festival Réel 2006) and also "Fucking Sheffield" by Kim Flitcroft (Sheffield 2006).

In 1999, she became producer.
Since then, Jacques and Marianne have produced two feature films by Marc Recha "Pau and his brother" (Competition Cannes 2001) and "Where is madame Catherine?" (Official Selection Cannes 2003), "A piece of sky" by Bénédicte Liénard (Official Selection Cannes 2002), "Feathers in my head" by Thomas de Thier (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2003), "Salvador Allende" by Patricio Guzman (Out of Competition Cannes 2004), "Zulu love letter" by Ramadan Suleman (Official Selection Venice 2004), "Salt of this sea" by Annemarie Jacir (Official Selection Cannes 2008), "Salamandra" by Pablo Agüero (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2008), "Face" by Tsai Ming-Liang (Competition Cannes 2009), "Corpo Celeste" by Alice Rohrwacher (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2011), "The repentant" by Merzak Allouache (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2012),"A respectable family" by Massoud Bakhshi (Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2012), "Virgem Margarida" by Licinio Azevedo (Toronto), "Carne de perro" by Fernando Guzzoni (Best Film San Sebastian New Directors), "The rooftops" by Merzak Allouache (Venice 2013 in Competition), "Stray dogs" by Tsai Ming-Liang (Venice 2013 in Competition Grand Prix of the Jury Silver Lion), "Cain’s children" by Marcell Gero (San Sebastian New Director 2014) and "Eva doesn’t sleep" by Pablo Agüero (San Sebastian Competition 2015, Toronto, Mar del plata…).

In addition to the full fiction feature schedule, JBA Production has kept producing one or two documentaries each year, such as "Flowers in the mirror, Moon in the water" by François Lunel (Taiwan 2009), "Heureux qui connut Nice" de Robert Bozzi (2009), "L’énergumène" by Jean-Loïc Portron (2010).

February 2016, "Jesus" by Fernando Guzzoni (Chile) and "Born Free" (South Africa) are in postproduction and three others films are in development "Yalda" by Massoud Bakhshi (Iran), "Sow the wind" by Danilo Caputo (Italy) and "Wajib" by Annemarie Jacir (Palestine).
