biography

Tommaso Arrighi is graduated in Film Production at CSC-Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and is an alumnus of the MEDIA programs: TorinoFilmLab, Ep2c, Production Value. In 2004, he founded his own company Mood Film producing since then several short films and documentaries and three feature films, including "The Guest" by Duccio Chiarini (Locarno Film Festival, Piazza Grande 2018). Since 2017, he is executive producer for Lucky Red productions, such as "Ride" by Jacopo Rondinelli, "La Befana Vien di Notte" by Michele Soavi, and TV series "Il Processo" by Stefano Lodovichi. He is a member of ACE and EFA.

Mood Film is an independent Italian company based in Rome that has produced 6 short films, 3 documentaries, 3 features and has collaborated as executive production on various feature films and documentaries.
Among the documentaries, the most noteworthy are "Hit the Road, nonna" by Duccio Chiarini (Giornate degli Autori - Venice Film Festival 2011, Krakow Film Festival, Thessaloniki, Sofia; winner at the Arcipelago, Visioni Italiane and Genova Film Festival; winner of the audience award at the Festival dei Popoli and special mention at the Nastri d’Argento) and the co-produced mockumentary "Lo Specchio dei Sogni" ("El Hombre Que Quiso Ser Segundo") by Ramón Alòs, premiered at the Cinema Jove at Valencia International Film Festival in 2015.

The first produced feature was "Aquadro" by Stefano Lodovichi (Cinequest International Film Festival 2013; winner of 3 festivals) produced with Rai Cinema and IDM Sudtirol Alto Adige. The second is "Due Piccoli Italiani" ("Two Little Italians") by Paolo Sassanelli (Bifest 2018), co-produced with Iceland, Duo Productions, in collaboration with Rai Cinema and with the support of Eurimages, MIBACT, regional funding from Puglia and Lazio, and the support of BCC San Marzano di San Giuseppe, distributed internationally by True Colours and released in Italian theaters Key Films in June 2018. The third project is "L’ospite" (The Guest) by Duccio Chiarini (Piazza Grande - Locarno Festival 2018), co-produced with Switzerland, Cinedokke, and France, House on Fire, with Rai Cinema and RSI, in association with Relief and Bravado and in collaboration with Wildside and with the support of Lazio regional funding, MIBACT, Eurimages, UFC and TFL. The movie was developed at the Cinéfondation La Résidence and at the TorinoFilmLab and presented at the Berlinale Co-Production Market, at Gap Financing Market of the Venice Film Festival and Locarno Pro’s Alliance for Development.
As executive production Mood Film realized the action thriller "Ride" by Jacopo Rondinelli, written by Fabio Guaglione, Fabio Resinaro, Marco Sani, produced by Lucky Red, Mercurious, TIMVision, released in Italy by Lucky Red in September 2018.
