Damiano Femfert was born in 1985. His mother is Italian and his father German. He has studied comparative literature at the Universities of Rome La Sapienza and Paris X Nanterre graduating with a thesis on James Joyce’s Ulysses, before being admitted to the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome to attend the screenwriting course. His journalistic works have appeared in German national daily-newspapers, his theatre and art related works published in books. He is currently working on two film projects and a novel. Besides being a writer he also works as a curator of modern art and a lecturer at LUISS University in Rome.
