Maurizio Amendola was born on 14th May 1985; he grew up in Crotone. After studying Philosophy and managing Radioeco - Official Radio of Pisa University - he moved to Torino to attend the Master’s Degree in Screenwriting, Dramaturgy, Creative Writing at Scuola Holden. He writes analysis about comics and graphic novels for L’Indice dei Libri del Mese. He worked as Junior Editor for FictionLab 2014/2015 (FCTP - Film Commission Torino Piemonte); Script Assistent for the radio play “Fabula” (RSI - Radiotelevisione Svizzera Italiana); he joined the 1st Workshop of SeriesLab Italia 2016 with his teen drama concept “No Man’s Land” and acted as Collaborating Writer for the movie "Babylon Sisters" (TICO Film). He collaborates as tutor with Scuola Holden. He is actually part of the European talent development project CELA – Connecting Emerging Literary Artists.
