company profile

Maia Workshops is an advanced training and coaching programme targeted to emerging European fiction, documentary, animation and cross-media producers. Our focus is on the Mediterranean, Central and Eastern European countries. We work on consolidating our knowledge of the crafts and the skills of classical film production, we look at new and innovative ways of making and marketing films with low budgets, we look forward into transmedia storytelling and building crossmedia projects and we explore new platforms and revolutionary strategies to find and reach our dedicated audience.

Maia offers three independent five-day residential workshops across a year: creative aspects in development, legal & financial issues, marketing & distribution.

Participants can attend one, two or all three workshops according to their needs.
Extra activities are designed for alumni.
