Born in Chieri (Turin, Italy), April 10 1977.
Degree in Dramaturgy of Film - Faculty of the performing arts, University of Turin.
From 2000 to 2007 he worked as a filmmaker realizing promotional and company videos for a chemical factory and as a freelance filmmaker and editor for theatrical and cultural institutions, publishers, companies. In collaboration with the municipality of Chieri, he held cycles of courses on audiovisual language in elementary schools (2005-2007).
In April 2007 he founded BabyDoc Film, a production company based in Turin, where he works as a producer, director and cinematographer. As a filmmaker he also worked for TV productions (Magnolia, Discovery Real Time, Rai), University of Turin, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism - Polo museale regionale del Piemonte, brands such as Martini & Rossi - Bacardi and Samsung.
As a director he made in 2012 the documentary August Weddings, premiered at the Venice Days/Venice Nights, 69th Venice Film Festival.

BabyDoc Film is an italian independent production company founded in Turin in 2007.
Since the beginning, BabyDoc Film has shown strong sensitivity in social issues and character driven stories. Its documentary films participated in festivals as Locarno, Venice, Turin, Bafici, Festival dei popoli and many others, winning prestigious awards as David di Donatello and Joris Ivens award at Cinema du Réel.
Feature film "Pietro" (fiction), directed by Daniele Gaglianone was selected in 2010 Locarno Film Festival, Concorso Internazionale.
BabyDoc Film co-produces with italian producers as Gianluca Arcopinto, Domenico Procacci - Fandango, Mir Cinematografica and is also active in international co-production, having produced the documentary “Of wolves and men” (2015), an Italo-French co-production between BabyDoc Film and Quartier Latin Media - Michel Noll.
BabyDoc films and documentaries have been acquired and programmed in TV and cinema, distributed online and for the home movie market, by Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana (Rai1, Rai2, Rai3), Babel Tv, RSI, CNC Bibliothèque Publique d'Information - Center Pompidou, MYmovies, Lucky Red, Pablo, Derive Approdi.
