Enrica Viola is born in Turin (Italy). She attended a documentary school held by director Daniele Segre and graduate in Cinema History at University of Turin. Her first work was “If life is better, throw away the Tv camera”, video-portrait of the artist Marcello Piccardo, presented at Torino Film Festival and Filmmaker Festival (Milan) in 1998. Right after that she worked as both director and author for several magazines on performing arts and documentaries for Rai and Raisat . Since 2008 she acts as an independent director and producer with Una film ( in collaboration with other Italian and foreign independent companies. Her last release as director and producer is "Borsalino City",, a long feature documentary funded by Creative Europe, ARTE, Rai Cinema and Italian Ministry of Culture The documentary has succesfully reached an international audience.
