Biography

Axel Cherniavsky holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Buenos Aires. He is a researcher at the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (Argentina), and assistant professor of Contemporary Philosophy and Metaphysics at the University of Buenos Aires. He was a fellow of the Fulbright Commission, the Embassy of France and the Region of Île-de-France, among other institutions. As a researcher and lecturer he was invited in universities of the United States, France and Latin America. Currently, his research interests concern the philosophical conceptions of time and space and their implications in the ethical and aesthetic fields, which led him to different collaborations with the visual arts. He is the author of "Exprimer l'esprit. Temps et langage chez Bergson" (L’Harmattan, 2009), "Concept et méthode. La conception de la philosophie de Gilles Deleuze" (Publications de la Sorbonne, 2012) and "Spinoza" (Galerna, 2017).
