Biography
Aslam Ansari is a filmmaker based in Paris. He is engaged in making films on socio-political themes. One of his short films, It's A Cosmos Gone Wild has been screened at the Short Film Corner, Cannes-2008. Earlier, he has written and directed a feature-length film, Desperate Connections, on the subject of child labour. He is also the author of a book, Hanging Out in Paris and Hollywood: The Turbulant Journey of a Filmmaker. Currently, he is co-producing an experimental film, Angarey (The Burning Desires...)
