Eddie holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies from SOAS, University of London. He has been working in film distribution since 2014. Following collaborations at Officine Ubu and Videa, since 2017 he is in charge of acquisitions and marketing at Academy Two.

Eddie is also active in the field of film festivals. He is the Program Manager of the Venice International Film Critics' Week (Venice Film Festival) since 2009, and a programmer at Filmmaker Festival in Milan since 2017.
