biography

Ellie Gibbons started her career in 2011 in the Casting and Literary departments of Independent Talent Group, under the tutelage of Paul Lyon-Maris.
Gibbons joined Altitude at its inception in 2012 and helped shape the company into a home for bold and distinctive talent. Key acquisitions during her time at Altitude include: "Moonlight", "Mid90s", "The Rider", "The Florida Project", "Loveless", "I Am Not Your Negro", "Beast", "Lady Macbeth", "Fruitvale Station" and "20 Feet From Stardom".

As an essential part of a leading United Kingdom's start-up for the last six years, Gibbons’ experience of a vertically integrated led system has given her a unique understanding of a project's life cycle. It has also afforded Gibbons a broad and inclusive industry network that spans the United Kingdom, Europe and United States. Gibbons’ market-place nous, good taste and knack for hitting the zeitgeist was recognised by Screen International in 2017 who named her a Future Leader.

In April 2018, Gibbons partnered up with Mike Goodridge to form Good Chaos - a London based production company that puts talent at its centre. Working with both emerging and established voices, the company has projects set up with Morgan Creek, Film4 and the BBC, and continues to honour the track record both Goodridge and Gibbons built at their previous posts.
