Sarah is an Italian Producer, grew up in France then graduated in History in Rome and started working first in the financial industry between Milan and London. In 2005 she decided to move into the film business. Her company, Tico Film, was founded in Rome in 2005 investing immediately in their first film "La vera leggenda di Tony Vilar" ("The true legend of Tony Vilar") by first time Director Giuseppe Gagliardi (which premiered internationally at the Tribeca FF and in Italy at Rome FF first edition). Following this first formative success, Sarah carried on producing films with a particular interest in documentaries, mainly funded through Italian and European public Funds (MIBAC, Creative Europe, FVG Film Commission, FVG Fondo Audiovisivo, etc).

In the last 10 years while leaving in London, she collaborated with some UK companies and took part to several international workshops (EAVE Film Finance, Raindance Film Makers Foundations, RE-Act) attending the main European Film Markets. In 2015 she opened a UK branch, Tico Media Ltd. 2018 Sarah became sole administrator of Tico Film and coincidentally also moved back to Italy (Trieste) where she is now based. 2019 she is participating to EAVE Producers Workshop / 2020 EAVE Marketing Workshop.

TICO Film is an independent production company founded in 2005 by father and daughter Gino and Sarah Pennacchi, both with experience in the international asset management. To date, Tico has produced 11 films, working with companies such as RAI, Indigo Film, Gruppo L'Espresso and accessing European funding, Film Commission, international co-productions, and Mibact Tax Credit Imaie of Banca Generali. Tico develops films and creative documentaries for national and international markets. We carefully select every project and we dedicate ourselves to all the stages of production, working closely with the creative team. During these years, our films were shown at A-level festivals such as the Berlinale, Tribeca and Venice Film Festivals as well as the Festival of Cinema in Rome and have been all distributed internationally. In 2015 we opened our UK branch, Tico Media, in London. We are now looking to make some international co-productions to grow our network and collaborations. Sarah is Tico’s sole administrator since 2018; she is a EAVE member since 2019.
