company profile

Malfé Film is an independent production company founded in 2016 in Torino, dedicated to creative documentary and fiction films.
We developed and produced Tutti pazzi per Paolo by Donato Canosa (2018) and A man must be strong by Elsi Perino and Ilaria Ciavattini, premiered at Festival dei Popoli in 2019. In 2019 we co-produced Giacomo Sebastiani's short film Zheng, with Atacama Film and Ouverts. We collaborated with Vrai Vrai Film (France) for the production of Traverser (After the Crossing) by Joel Akafou, selected in 2020 at Berlinale and Visions du Réel.

We are currently co-producing Mother Lode by Matteo Tortone with Wendigo Films (France) and C-Side (Switzerland), winner of the Eurimages Lab Award at Thessaloniki's Agorà Work in Progress 2019. With this project we took part, in the person of Margot Mecca, in the 2018 edition of the EURODOC program.
