Biography

Adam Selo is an award-winning director and producer born in 1979. Graduated in Cinema studies in 2006 he gained recognition for the short Ramiro and the documentary Playing Maruata, both shot in Mexico. He directed various films (shorts and doc): the mockumentary Sayonara Nippon (2009); Sexy Shopping (2014), the most awarded Italian documentary of the year of 2014; Centro Barca Okkupato (2016), a short produced with Emilia Romagna Region. His latest short 19'35'' was filmed in Toulouse in March 2017, and it's an episode of the series 13.11. Umarells is his first feature film.
