Fernando J. Monge began his career at age 18, working as sound editor in movies and TV series. Four years later, he decides to focus on production working on numerous projects, both advertising and fiction.
He has worked for different production companies and currently has his own company, Huaorani Films. Among his works there are several advertising campaigns and short films like as Baraka, selected at the Tribeca Festival and nominated for 2018 Goya Awards.
In 2019, he produced the short film Ferrotipos, by Nüll García, which was premiered at the Medina del Campo Film Festival, obtaining the Special Jury Prize, and which has also been selected at festivals such as Huesca International Film Festival Short Film Week of the Community of Madrid or ALCINE. He also produces three other short films: El Método, One 2 One and one documentary short film, Colibrí, by Pablo de la Chica.
He is currently developing the feature film Elefante (Madrid Pitchbox Filmarket-Hub Special Mention), by Pablo de la Chica, and the TV series Bajar Patria (selected at Valencia Picht Forum 2020).

Huaorani Films was founded in 2018 with the main purpose of telling real stories for the audience by supporting emerging talents. Leading this young film production company is Fernando J. Monge, nominated for a Goya Award in 2018 for Baraka.
From the beginning Huaorani Films has focused on seeking emerging filmmakers, providing them with a visibility that contribute positively to the filmmaker's career. Because of this, Huaorani Films has produced fiction and documentary short films, among which Ferrotipos stands out, which was premiered at the Semana del Cine de Medina del Campo, obtaining the Special Jury Award and selected in film festivals such as the Festival International de Cine de Huesca, the Semana del Cortometraje de la Comunidad de Madrid or the Festival de Cine de Alfa's de Pi. Huaorani Films also produced three other short films: El Método, One 2 One and a documentary short film, Colibrí, directed by Pablo de la Chica. In 2021 he produces the short film El Establo, by Elisa Puerto Aubel.
Currently Huaorani Films is developing the feature film Elefante, by Pablo de la Chica and a fiction TV series, Bajar Patria. Additionally it’s working on three short films.
