biography

Karissa is a screenwriting graduate of the National Film and Television School. In 2018, she wrote an online spin-off for CBBC’s flagship series THE DUMPING GROUND. She has written several projects for film and TV and is currently working on her original comedy drama series POSSESSED for Channel 4, while writing for Netflix teen thriller series GET EVEN. Karissa is also in development on CHAMPIONESS, an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name, with award-winning director Deepa Mehta.
