biography

Ahmed wrote and directed Tomorrow, his graduation short film from the MET- Film School of Berlin (2016), which was screened at Zawya Short Film Festival and the Sphinx International Student Film Festival.
He wrote and directed Ghorab Al-Bayn, his award winning student graduation short film from the High Cinema Institute, Egypt (2018), which was screened in more than 11 film festivals, including the 3rd Gouna Film Festival (FEF), international festivals such as the 15th Cyprus International Film Festival, and won three student competitions (the 21st Ismailia International Film Festival for Shorts and Documentaries & the 6th Alexandria Short Film Festival & Tokyo International FIlm Festival).
Ahmed took part in various screenwriting and development workshops, such as the 41st Cairo International Film Festival EAVE-Producers Lab, the DEDI-Screenwriting for Children, the Cinephilia Productions Screenwriting Lab for Shorts, as well as a screenwriting workshop with Ahmed Amer. He also attended various producer's workshops, especially with Dina Emam and with Dima El-Joundy.
Ahmed’s debut short film as a director, Last Day, is waiting for its international premiere.
