Born in 1981, Emilie Dubois graduated from Louis Lumière Film School in 2007. Since then, she has produced more than 40 short films, from drama to comedy and horror, including a lot of international coproductions.

She just joined Insolence Productions, as associates and head of development. Their first feature Jumbo by Zoé Wittock premiered in Sundance 2020 and won the Gild Filmmpreiz at the Berlinale. They’re currently finishing their second feature Junkyard Dog, first film by Jean-Baptiste Durand.
Parallelly to her activity as a producer, she’s also a scriptwriter.
She participated in the Atelier Scénario of la Fémis directed by Nadine Lamari (Class of 2021) with a fantasy/horror feature film project, Sora Mea (co-written with Myriam Dupuis). She’s also co-writing the project of Myriam Dupuis, Haxa, also initiated during the Fémis workshop in 2019.
Emilie Dubois is a double finalist in the Parasomnia call for projects launched by Sony Pictures France and Moana Films. 3 genre films 1 million Euros will be produced among the 5 finalists, which include Kyma, the first feature film by Romain Daudet-Jahan that she’s co-writing, and Radio, her first film as an author-director, which she’s co-writing again with her lifelong accomplice, Myriam Dupuis.
