Laura Buffoni, PhD in Cinema and Arts, is a film critic, festival programmer and film professional based in Rome.

Joined Fandango in 2005, where she is actually in charge of Film Acquisitions and Project Development.

Domenico Procacci’s Fandango began in 1989. Since then it’s created more than 100 films, participating in a number of festivals and winning various prizes including two Gran Prix awarded by the Cannes’ jury for “Gomorrah” and “Reality” both directed by Matteo Garrone. Nanni Moretti, Paolo Sorrentino, Michelangelo Antonioni, Emir Kusturica, Rolf De Heer, Milcho Mancevski, Emanuele Crialese, Richard Lowenstein, Gabriele Muccino, Daniele Vicari, Luciano Ligabue, Ferzan Ozpetek, François Girard and Richard J. Lewis are just a handful of the directors who have worked with Fandango throughout the years. With Fandango TV Domenico Procacci produced the television show “Parla Con Me”, “The Show Must Go Off”, and “Gazebo” and the series “L’Oriana” about the journalist Oriana Fallaci, “Limbo” and “Gomorrah” by Stefano Sollima.
An adaption of the novels by Elena Ferrante is currently underway.

Fandango is also a publishing company (Fandango Libri ), a music label (Radiofandango), a distribution company. Along with Eric Abraham (Portobello Pictures UK) they have founded Fandango Portobello Sales an International Film Sales Company from 2007 to 2013. Since then he owns Fandango Sales, his own International Sales Company.
