Lukas Bossuyt directed many commercials and a few short films before venturing into writing for series and writing and directing his first feature film 'Sum of Histories'. This film won the Silver Méliès at Triest Science+Fiction Festival and was distributed both in Belgium and the USA. After obtaining an masters in engineering, Lukas Bossuyt decided to go to London and study film at the london Film School and the University of Westminster. He wrote and directed two successful short movies ELISABETH and STRAWBERRY FLAVOUR, with the first being screened for a week at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square. After that, he made his name as an international advertising director and built a career as a scriptwriter for Flemish television series. His first feature film, SUM OF HISTORIES (2015), won the Silver Meliès award at the Trieste Science Fiction Festival and was distributed in the USA. In 2017 he co-wrote and produced the first professional short film that was directed by a man with Down Syndrome. Lukas is now working on the development of a new feature fim and a tv series.
