Antonio Morales is a graduate of Complutense University of Madrid and extended his education at Madrid Cinema School and the Royal School of Dramatic Arts. His debut feature film Marisa in the Woods (2017) was premiered at the Seville European Film Festival and was screened at over 40 international festivals. It was highly acclaimed by the critics, who celebrated his fresh approach and highlighted influences by authors such as Rivette, Varda or Sang-soo. His second feature film Miss Futuro was shot in New York and is to be premiered at the end of 2021. He’s also working on his new project ‘Death’s bride’, which has received a Ibermedia grant for Labguion. The project has been selected in Sofia Meetings, Ventana Sur, Macao International Film Festival and Awards, and Sitges Film Festival, where it own honorable mentions. He is a teacher at the European Design Institute (IED).
