Kasia Karwan is an experienced film consultant with a dual academic background in Cultural Anthropology from Warsaw University and Film, TV, and New Media production from Paris 1 Sorbonne. She began her career in 2010, working with international sales companies in France and Canada, where she developed a keen eye for acquisitions and co-productions.
As the founder of Moonshot, a Paris-based company, Kasia provides expertise in international co-productions and distribution strategies, bridging creative talent with global markets. A member of the Short Films Committee at the Cannes Film Festival and a talent scout for Wild Atlantic Pictures in Ireland, she actively supports emerging filmmakers and innovative projects. In Poland, her acquisitions work at Velvet Spoon has brought standout films like Devil’s Bath and Vincent Must Die to audiences, contributing to the growth of the local genre film scene.
