Jeske van der Slikke graduated from Utrecht University in 2014 with a master's degree in Film & Television Studies. Subsequently, she worked for Dutch film production company Rinkel Film. As a project manager, she was responsible for coordinating the projects in development and especially the international co-productions. As of 2017, she has been working for the Hubert Bals Fund, where she among others coordinates the HBF+Europe programme.
