With a background in business administration, Dirk moved into film production in 2004, working on a range of acclaimed international co-productions. In 2012, he co-founded Tamtam Film with Andrea Schütte, building a slate that includes Albert Serra’s PACIFICTION (Cannes 2022), the documentary GARAGE PEOPLE (Berlinale 2020), and the Grimme-nominated series KOMM SCHON! He is a member of the European Film Academy and the European Producers Club.
