With experience across numerous international productions, Dirk Decker founded Tamtam Film in 2012 with Andrea Schütte. A graduate of the EAVE producers workshop and member of the European Produces Club and European Film Academy, he works consciously within a European context, driven by a strong belief in the European idea. Over the past decade, Tamtam has produced more than 25 award-winning works, presented at major festivals, including PACIFICTION (Cannes 2022), RAIN FELL ON THE NOTHING NEW (Karlovy Vary 2025), and SHORT SUMMER (Venice 2025, Lion of the Future). Tamtam is dedicated to diverse representation and to ecological and socially responsible filmmaking.
