Claire’s latest short is an adaptation of her stage play, TRACKS, which was performed by Rogues Gallery in 2011. The film was commissioned by Rankin Film Production’s Collabor8te scheme and she shot it in Scotland in September 2013.
Last year she also directed JAMES, a period short film set in the 1790s written by Felix Levinson and funded by the Wellcome Trust.
Her first short BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH won Best Personal Narrative at Amsterdam Film Festival, 2011 and her second short, PHYSICS, was commissioned by Film London in association with Tomboy Films and Working Title Films. It won the Best of Boroughs Award, 2012 and premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Both played many festivals worldwide.
Claire is on the Birds Eye View Filmonomics programme 2014. In 2013 she developed her short script BRIGHT SHADOW with Nisi Masa for the European Short Pitch. She has written for Eon Screenwriting Workshop and worked as a script consultant for the BFI, Working Title Films, Momentum Pictures, Studio Canal, Focus Features and BBC Films, amongst others.
Claire is currently working on her first feature and represented by Hannah Thornton at United Agents.
