Biography

She started her career since she was young with short-films until reaching to the feature-film making in both Mexico and Spain, obtaining a fiction Clermont Ferrand Award as well as a nomination to the Goya Awards. With great experience in Field Production, she traveled through Latin America and the Caribbean, in documentary series .for canal ONCETV Mexico and BBC; as well as documentaries and independent films. Among her latest productions are, The Forgotten Tree, which obtained the Gucci Scholarship / Ambulante 08 and the Visions Sud EST. “Barabarous Mexico 2010” “Die standing up”, “The other side of the coin: the search for my grandfather Allende”  coproduction Chile-Mexico and IBERMEDIA , “CUATES DE AUSTRALIA” with scholarship JAN VRIJMAN FUND, TRIBECA FILM  INSTITUTE and  ” The open sky” which obtained the Gucci Scholarship 2010 and FOPROCINE MEXICO She performs studies of Executive Production at “EICTV” in San Antonio de los baños Cuba; working at pitching, Project Developments, International Distribution and Sales. She had been promoted from the MEDIA program at the Film Business School from Lubeck-Germany specializing, marketing development and documentary distribution. Since 2008 is a coordinator of the documentary area at the Centro de Capacitacion Cinematográfica México and she contributed with the investigation of the production Cathedra.
