Biography

Producer for film and television and director of documentary films. He has produced feature films such as Fuga dal call center (2009) by Federico Rizzo, with Coop Gagarin e Ardaco;  Italian Dream (2007), by Sandro Baldoni, Fame Chimica (2003), by Paolo Vari and Antonio Bocola; Il Mnemonista (2001), by Paolo Rosa with Sudio Azzurro; Tartarughe dal becco d’ascia (2000), by Antonio Syxty with il teatro Out Off, Giorgia (1993), by Marco Maccaferri, several documentaries, including Vogliamo anche le rose (2007), Per Sempre (2005) and Un’ora sola ti vorrei (2002), by Alina Marazzi; Anima Mundi (1992) and Evidence (1995), by Godfrey Reggio with Philip Glass’ music; La Situazione (2003), by Alessandro Piva; medium and short films as Pompeo (1998), by A.Bocola and P.Vari, Il Pratone Casilino (1996, with Navert Film and CISA) by Giuseppe Bertolucci. He has directed or co-directed several documentaries, social (Stranieri tra noi, Elettori della Lega Lombarda, Il declino di Milano, Mediterraneo) and worked as a director and producer for RAI. It was associate director of Fabrica by Benetton (1994/95, director Godfrey Reggio) and, in 1980, co-founder of Filmmakers of Milan (with Silvano Cavatorta), the festival has identified financial district and supported the beginnings of new generations of film directors (amongst others Silvio Soldini, Studio Azzurro, Kiko Stella Bruno Bigoni, Anna Negri, Alina Marazzi, Bocola & Various, Federico Rizzo). He teaches at the Università Cattolica, at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and at the School of Cinema in Milan.
