Biography

Sára LÁSZLÓ graduated at the film director’s faculty of the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, and also completed a one-year production training in the Parisian film school ESRA. During her internship at the film production company Les Films du Poisson based in Paris, she participated, in the development of creative documentaries. After returning to Hungary she co-founded Campfilm in 2007 and worked as a producer or occasionally as a co-author in all of Campfilm’s completed films. Sara is a Eurodoc, Nipkow Programme, EAVE, DokIncubator, Producers on the Move alumni and a 2019 Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee. She is currently a participant of the ACE annual Producers Workshop with Dénes Nagy’s second feature project The Vacation. She teaches film production studies at the Budapest Metropolitan University as well as the Eötvös Lóránd University and she is one of the mentors of the 2022 European Women’s Audiovisual Network’s (EWA) Mentoring Programme.
