Biography

Sandrine Joly is a french screenwriter based in Paris. After a cinema school and a MA in Theater Studies, she worked as an actress and a project developer in production companies. She then completed her writing skills at the french CEEA and at IEP Grenoble with a Transmedia Master. She has since been working as a screenwriter on various international animated series such as Noddy or Sonic Boom and as a script editor for the french broadcaster TF1 Productions. She is now developing several original projects including a one-hour political drama series that was selected for the first edition of the TorinoSeriesLab and which is now being developed by the french production group Makever (label Moonbow) in coproduction with WarnerBros Germany. She is also developing an animated feature that has been selected to be part of the 2018/2019 french Groupe Ouest residential's writing workshop, and another TV Series that was selected at the first edition of Series Mania’s Writers Campus.
