TFL Extended – Audience Design is an intensive workshop addressed to international film, media and digital professionals wishing to gain solid hands-on experience within a workshop framework, creating audience engagement strategies for feature film projects in various stages of development. The workshop aims at sharing insights and tools into steps that help build a concrete strategy to later support a film’s sales and distribution.

WHAT

TFL Extended – Audience Design is an intensive workshop addressed to international film, media and digital professionals wishing to gain solid hands-on experience within a workshop framework, creating audience engagement strategies for feature film projects in various stages of development. The workshop aims at sharing insights and tools into steps that help build a concrete strategy to later support a film’s sales and distribution.

Up to 5 Audience Designer trainees will work as a group and individually on one feature film project selected by WCF Europe & TorinoFilmLab to be supported with the Audience Design Award.

At the end of the workshop, the participants will also join the Think Tank organised by TFL during the European Film Market in Berlin. The event aims at activating a common reflection on the future of the Audience Design, featuring international key players and experts in the cinema and media fields.

TFL Extended – Audience Design 2023 is organised thanks to the partnership with World Cinema Fund.

WHEN & WHERE

Where: in person, in the frame of the Berlin International Film Festival.
When: From 13th to 17th February

WHO

5 Audience Designer trainees, who will work as a group and individually on the feature film project selected by WCF “Crocodile Tears (a FeatureLab 2019 project).

Together with the film team (producers & director) and their tutor Nicolò Gallio, the participants will develop and draft an innovative audience engagement strategy to inspire the film's future distribution.
