TFL Italia

Boost IT Lab 2026

Call for applications open! Deadline: 03/07/2026

TIME LEFT: 58 day, 17 hours

Up to 8 teams will be selected to take part in an exclusive plan of activities: online over the course of the month of October and in Torino from 24th to 28th November 2026, as part of Boost IT Lab.

MAIN INFO

The Lab is addressed to two main targets:

- International projects with non-national potential, with a focus on those looking for suitable Italian minority partners.

- Italian projects with strong potential for international co-production, presented by an Italian production company.

All the projects will benefit from dedicated training sessions with experts and mentors, which aims at putting them in contact with potential partners, expanding their industry network and, at the same time, enhancing their knowledge and experience in co-productions, markets and international financing.

The aim is to provide a new generation of international professionals with tools and guidance to work internationally, and to better understand the international potential of their project.

Both the director and the  producer of each team will also have the unique opportunity to network with a wider audience of international decision makers by taking part together in the TFL MEETING EVENT (26th – 28th November 2026): at the Meeting Event the team will pitch the project and will have the opportunity to attend for two additional days and organize several meetings with different professionals coming from different fields of the film industry and from all over the world.

Each project team will benefit from:
- a first online preparatory session leading into the in-person workshop;
- a four-day intensive workshop in Turin, from November 24 to 28;
- online and on-site script development sessions, both individual and in groups;
- plenary sessions and one-to-one meetings with highly experienced international experts across various fields, including Audience Design, Sales, Legal, Green Production, and Pitching;
- a final pitch presentation in front of international producers and decision-makers;
- one badge per team member (director and producer) granting access to TFL Meeting Event activities and meetings.

Duration

The online sessions will be held in the first half of October 2026.
The Lab will be held from 24th to 28th November 2026 in Turin (4 days), and will culminate during the TFL Meeting Event (26th – 28th November 2026).
