UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE at the Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab

Sundance Institute has selected 12 projects for its annual Screenwriters Lab (part of its Feature Film Program). Pengfei Song’s UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE (France / Taiwan / China), which participated in FrameWork and won a TorinoFilmLab Production Award (140.000 Euro) in November 2011, is among the scripts selected to take part in the prestigious initiative. UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE produced by Vincent Wang for House on Fire (France) and co-produced by Tsai Ming-Liang’s Homegreen Films (Taiwan), is Pengfei Song’s first feature project

Sundance Institute has selected 12 projects for its annual Screenwriters Lab (part of its Feature Film Program). Pengfei Song’s UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE (France / Taiwan / China), which participated in FrameWork and won a TorinoFilmLab Production Award (140.000 Euro) in November 2011, is among the scripts selected to take part in the prestigious initiative.
UNDERGROUND FRAGRANCE produced by Vincent Wang for House on Fire (France) and co-produced by Tsai Ming-Liang’s Homegreen Films (Taiwan), is Pengfei Song’s first feature project.
The Screenwriters Lab is an immersive, five-day (January 13-18) writers’ workshop at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Participating independent screenwriters – drawn from around the world – will have the opportunity to work intensely on their feature film scripts with the support of established writers in an environment that encourages innovation and creative risk-taking.
