Unveiled the selection of the 83th edition of Venice Film Festival (2nd – 12th September). This year, 4 films developed by TorinoFilmLab – with the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union – will premiere in Venice.
In the Orizzonti competition of the Venice Film Festival:
- A DAY IN THE LIFE OF JO: CHAPTER PHAEDRA by Jacqueline Lentzou - FeatureLab 2024, Green Film Lab 2024
- I FIGLI DELLA SCIMMIA by Tommaso Landucci – Alpi Film Lab 2022
- UNTIL THE DAY ENDS by Jelena Maksimović – ScriptLab 2022
In the context of the Venice Film Festival, selected at the 41st SIC – Settimana Internazionale della Critica:
- OUR SHARE OF SAND di Shalini Adnani – TFL Extended 2019
Competing in Orizzonti also The Difficult Bride by Rubaiyat Hossain, director that received the TFL Audience Design Fund in 2018 with the project Made in Bangladesh.
Bonus track: guess who else is heading to Venice? FeatureLab 2025 participants Lorenzo Cioffi and Giorgio Giampà of Zoe Films, producers of A Bit of Light, are behind Ali Asgari's new film.
