After the amazing TFL summer, the upcoming autumn seems to be as... hot! 6 TFL films will be screened at the 21st Busan International Film Festival (8-15 October)!

The Flash Forward section will feature no less than 4 TFL-developed films: Un Certain Regard-winning debut THE HAPPIEST DAY IN THE LIFE OF OLLI MÄKI by Juho Kuosmanen, Critics' Week Nespresso Grand Prize winner MIMOSAS by Oliver Laxe, Locarno's Golden Leopard GODLESS by Ralitza Petrova and Berlinale Panorama's FIPRESCI Prize ALOYS by Tobias Nölle.

While 2 more TFL films will be screened within the Festival's A Window on Asian Cinema section, Davy Chou's DIAMOND ISLAND and Boo Junfeng's APPRENTICE.

That's a lot... but that's not all! Busan will host a very strong TFL Columbian Alumni presenceOscar Ruiz Navia and William Vega will be part of one of the Festival's special programmes. The retrospecitve “Cali Group – Root of Colombian Cinema" focuses on the importance of Cali within the Colombian Cinema, starting from the Cali Group founder in the 70's Luis Ospina.

The retrospective will feature Ruiz Navia's CRAB TRAP - furthermore, his experimental film EPIFANIA will have its world premiere at the Festival's World Cinema section - and Vega's THE TOWROPE.

Needless to say... we are looking forward to Busan!
